Cypress Springs was impounded in 1970 with 3,400 acres of top fishing waters. Walleye were stocked in the early days of the lake with some success. However, today black bass and catfish are the prime target for anglers. Cypress Springs is a spring-fed lake nestled in the piney woods of East Texas. The lake is situated between Mt.
